Challenge & Scope

Paramount wanted to create an interactive, character-driven microsite for New York Comic Con 2025. The goal was to excite TMNT fans, showcase exclusive products, and support merchandise pre-orders, all under a tight timeline. We had 2 weeks to propose creative directions and 2 more to finalize the site for launch.

This project was also designed as the foundation for future digital event hubs, setting the structure and approach for future Comic Cons and similar franchise activations. The intention was to build a scalable system that can grow and evolve across events.

What We Did

We worked closely with AnalogFolk’s creative team to bring the vision to life, iterating through multiple concepts and adapting quickly to evolving needs and asset delays.

Explored 4 versions of the homepage and room structure

Built a modular layout system for repeatable page patterns

Designed character-themed “rooms” with unique styling

Created motion-ready interaction patterns

Documented components and behaviors for dev handoff

Supported QA and late-stage tweaks during implementation

Highlights

Character Rooms

We created a fun, room-based experience where fans could explore Leo’s weapon rack, Donnie’s lab, April’s library, and more. Each room included themed content, embedded media, and links to exclusive merch.

Highlights

Focus on Modularity

The layout followed a repeatable structure that made it easy to add, remove, or update rooms post-launch. This modular approach allowed for speed without sacrificing design consistency.

Highlights

Merch Drops That Sold Out

We made exclusive product drops a visual priority. Each character page included a merch CTA, and a prominent section pushed toy pre-orders, which sold out in under 24 hours.

Outcome

The TMNT digital hub launched successfully at NYCC 2025, attracting nearly 10,000 total visits, with over 3,700 tracked engagements. Toy pre-orders sold out in under 24 hours, and the project received strong internal and client praise for creativity, speed, and polish.
