YellowDot aimed to evolve their Alpha version of MAI into a Beta product, a voice-enabled AI business coach designed to support professionals in daily work.
This required transitioning from a basic chat interface to a fully-featured coaching platform with multilingual readiness and smooth session continuity.

We partnered with Analog Folk to support YellowDot’s product transition and delivered the Beta UX/UI in five weeks:
Reviewed existing UX research and industry benchmarks
Defined full user flows, edge cases, and IA
Created low-fidelity wireframes to structure key screens
Designed all core screens (login, chat, dashboard, scheduling, settings)
Prototyped and tested onboarding and session flows with users
Delivered a developer-ready design system with micro-interaction documentation

Highlights
MAI supports multiple interaction types—voice-to-text, text-to-text, text-to-voice, and voice-to-voice. The UI guides users with clear status cues and minimal distractions, encouraging natural, focused interaction with the AI.

Highlights
We designed subtle state-changes for the AI’s core visual element, MAI, using gradients and glows to reflect presence, emotion, and session feedback. This helped convey a more calming, human-like interaction.

Highlights
We approached the Beta design with a mobile-first mindset to support future scalability into a native app. The final UI system was responsive, component-based, and ready for iteration, setting a strong foundation for continued development and expansion.
